Eddy Phaswana is an emerged entrepreneur who has accumulated vast experience through his exposure within large reputable investment holding companies in Southern Africa with high interest in the Publishing, Mining, Petroleum, Hospitality, Logistics and Information Communication Technology industry. He is responsible for strategy, mergers & acquisitions at Kalahari Group of Companies, including deal origination, negotiation, and execution of new investments as well as co-managing all commercial affairs of existing portfolio assets. His collective experience over the past 15 years includes organisational restructuring, business process management and improvement, project management, total quality management, performance management, change management, strategy formulation.

Under his leadership and business acumen, Kalahari Productions and Booksellers has grown over the years to become one of the leading developers of learning and teaching support material (LTSM) in South Africa, many of which are listed on the national catalogue of the Department of Basic Education and being used across the country in various schools and libraries.

Mr Eddy Phaswana holds a Business Information Systems degree with the University of Venda. He is currently serving in the board of directors as an executive secretary at the African Publishers Association; an association recognised by the Department of Basic Education and the National Library of South Africa, and within this organization, Eddy stands by building better solutions, superior design, key partnerships, and a stable financial basis on which the non profit organization is founded.
